DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER

Bernard’s perfect weekend plan collapses spectacularly in Don’t Dress for Dinner, a fast‑moving French farce set in a stylish country farmhouse. He hopes to entertain his Parisian mistress while his wife Jacqueline is conveniently away, with best friend Robert acting as the ideal alibi and a cordon bleu cook preparing dinner. But nothing goes to plan. Robert arrives clueless, Jacqueline cancels her trip, and the cook is mistaken for the mistress while the real mistress can’t cook at all. As lies multiply and identities tangle, Bernard and Robert scramble to keep up, creating a whirlwind of improvisation and hilarious confusion.
