THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Set in pre‑war Austria, The Sound of Music tells the story of Maria, a free‑spirited novice sent to govern the seven children of the widowed Captain von Trapp. Her music and compassion revive a household ruled by discipline, and she becomes a beloved figure to the children. As Maria and the Captain fall in love, political tensions escalate. The Nazis seize control of Austria, forcing the Captain to choose between serving the regime or protecting his family. United by love and music, the von Trapps risk everything to flee their homeland and preserve their freedom.
